After doing the MVP version, it was time to properly revamp the brand, update the userflows and create a concept for both the main app and the newly created "partner apps'.
OWLR is a company of creative-types, engineers and video enthusiasts who love working to bring about intelligent ambient awareness.
The new UI simplicity and elegance is intended: camera apps are normally very "geek centred" and this is, afterall, an any user can use with no need for high configuration knowledge.
The grey elements and monochrome pictures contrast with OWLR's strong new brand colour. Both work together to simplify user decisions and descrease learning curve of the app. Also, iconography was designed from ground up so that, along with new typography, the app gains a unique personality.
UX and Visual styles guides were researched and created to optimise the complex development process, specially with the new 'partner apps' (assets were reduced to minimal).
Camera iconography was designed for each brand based on real products.
Gestures implemented to save screen space and keep the interface light.
The on boarding/setup uses illustration and natural language.
The camera controller features many extra commands, depending on the camera.
