The inspiration for the boxes was the golden years of car racing, a territory that was truly within the brand guidelines and advertising campaign, since Martini has always transported consumers to places of retro glamour and aesthetics.
The vivid colours, along with high contrast typography helped consumers not only identify the brand but also the different products (something that wasn't happening with current boxes due to very similar layout and photos). The big 'racy' numbers helped also to quickly identify the product quantity which was also a problem with the current solution.
